The Wedding
4:00 pm
Hacienda La Soledad, Alcalá de Guadaíra
Note: Buses and taxis will be available to take you to the venue from central Sevilla and hotels, and return late.
Dress code: Traditional Scottish, Indian, or summer formal attire
What to expect:
Our ceremony blends Hindu and Scottish wedding traditions. After the ceremony, we will sit down together for dinner, and then party until the buses take us home.
STAY
We have arranged special rates at a few hotels for our guests. All are centrally located.
Cristine Bedfor Guest Houses Sevilla *
We will be hosting our Saturday event at this venue. The hotel is beautiful and extremely unique, designed by the same architect as who designed Plaza de España. We recommend this as a luxury option for convenience and extra comfort.
H10 Corregidor Boutique Hotel *
This hotel is converted from a classic Seville house palace, only a 2 minute walk from our Saturday venue. It is a more cost-effective option but still full of charm. Some of the rooms at this hotel are not listed as available yet for the dates of the wedding, but will come available closer to the time.
De Domínguez Hotel Boutique
This is a small, relatively new hotel with only a handful of rooms. Again, it's a stones throw away from the Saturday venue and plaza we will use for the bus transport to the wedding. It should feel like a home away from home!
Sercotel Sevilla Don Luciano
This hotel is brand new, cost-effective for the area and very close to our Saturday event venue, as well as conveniently placed for where buses will leave and come back to from the wedding. We also have a discount code!
Discount code: KATEYNEEL
Casa Sevilla 1920 Suites by Época
This is an apart-hotel offering a little more space than individual hotel rooms with suite apartments. It is still very close to the Saturday venue and wider group of hotels in the area, as well as walkable to wider Seville. The customer service is also great!
Hotel Inglaterra
This hotel is centrally located, making it a good and cost-effective option for exploring Seville! It's near a few of the major plazas in the city, so you should be at the centre of the action. We have arranged a discount code for this hotel.
Discount code: KATEYNEEL
Please let us know if you have any trouble using the discount codes. Some codes will come available closer to the wedding date. You are of course welcome to find your own accommodation. We recommend staying in the Casco Antiguo (Old Town), Santa Cruz, or near Setas de Sevilla - all walking distance to restaurants, tourist sights, and our wedding events.

GIFTING
The most meaningful gift we could ask for is having you with us in Seville. However, if you wish to honour us with a gift to mark the occasion, a contribution towards our honeymoon would be gratefully received.
GUIDE TO SEVILLA

Why Seville?
We lived in Seville for almost six months in 2022. It was an amazing experience for us to live in a little bubble together whilst working abroad and making amazing memories, and for that reason, Seville will always hold a very special place in our hearts. It felt very personal to us to share a little bit of that experience with our close friends and family for our wedding, and we are so excited to make new memories with you all!
If you choose to extend your stay in Seville, there's so much to do, so here are a few recommendations of our favourite places from the time we have spent there, including some of our favourite places to eat, drink and explore.
Eat & Drink
Sevilla is the spiritual home of tapas, so it would be a mistake to miss out while you are here! We have attached a link below to download a map of some of our favourite spots where you can find a coffee or a caña to drink like a local, or if you're hungry, an empanada, tostada or montadito to snack on. However, it's really hard to eat badly in the city, so follow your noses and see where you end up.
Getting Around
Sevilla is very walkable, but should you need a taxi, such as from the airport, metered taxis are well-priced and uber is widely available.
Explore
Seville is steeped in history and is home to some of the most iconic pieces of Andalucian culture. Walking around, you will see examples of beautiful Moorish meets Catholic architecture that you will struggle to find anywhere else in the world. We recommend visiting the following:
-
Catedral de Sevilla
Make sure you get a ticket that includes the clocktower for some amazing views. There's even a rooftop tour you can do at this cathedral which is a really unique experience! -
Real Alcázar de Sevilla
This is really the most incredible Moorish palace, with gorgeous gardens and architecture. -
Plaza de España - no tickets needed!
-
Setas de Sevilla
This is like a walkable art monument offering great views of the city. We recommend booking tickets for sunset! -
A flamenco show at Casa de la Memoria
If you have the time, these areas are just beautiful to walk around in:
-
Barrio Santa Cruz & Judería
Make sure to find Rosina's balcony! -
Triana
Home of Flamenco! -
La Alameda
-
Barrio Alfalfa
All our favourites with love from Kate & Neel xxx
